Architecture Strategy
Ryan Medrano is an IT Architect within Cisco’s Connected IT Services organization. In his role, Ryan supports the Business Architecture Service, oversees the Distinguished IT Engineer Forum, and is a member of the IT Change team. Ryan helps drive change management for Service Roles within the Cisco IT organization. Ryan is also the IT Advisor for both Target Corporation in Minneapolis and Los Angeles County in California.
Ryan has spent his entire career at Cisco and is a 14 year veteran. He came into Cisco as a College Intern and, after graduation in 2000, was hired into Corporate HR where he held positions in the HR Call Center, Compensation and Benefits, and HR Acquisitions. He then moved to the client facing side of the house and spent 4 years as an HR Manager supporting the Cisco IT Organization. During his time within IT, Ryan has worked within the Infrastructure Provisioning, Service Management and Enterprise Architecture groups with responsibilities around strategy, process, and change management.
Ryan is based in San Jose and his wife Julie has also been with Cisco for 14 years. They have two boys and spend most of their free time at the soccer field, where Ryan Coaches a competitive team and is the Director of Coaching for ELITE Soccer in Newark.
